BSF 8.6 Blackout, 1:3 Twist, 16″ Carbon Fiber Roll-Wrapped Bolt Action Barrel

This product is a BSF carbon fiber roll-wrapped 16″ bolt action barrel with a 1:3 Twist. These bolt action barrels will come as blanks, please contact us if you have any questions. After turning down the barrel, BSF jacket a 416R Stainless steel match barrel in a roll-wrapped carbon fiber sleeve and load it under tension. They use this jacketing method rather than wrapping the barrel in carbon fiber because this method of wrapping has been proven to trap heat and cause delamination. The carbon fiber they use is specially designed to move at the same expansion rate as 416R stainless steel.
