This load is manufactured to the same insane quality standards as the other Gorilla Ammunition match loads, LEAD FREE. This product features a 110gr Barnes TAC-TX projectile, factory new brass case, and a LEAD FREE primer. This combination creates the first line of range safe, completely lead free ammunition which is compliant in all states.
The TAC-TX has an all-copper design and specially engineered nose cavity. This results in rapid expansion, devastating energy transfer, and weight retention. Awesome stuff! Finally, a totally lead free round. Lead free primer and lead free projectile. I’ve looked for similar ammo in 5.56 and 9mm but all I can find with lead free primers are frangible. This is a solid self defense/hunting round and as long as they keep making it I’ll keep buying it. Not the cheapest stuff but the quality and performance is great.
