This lower cost product features a 147gr full metal jacket projectile and a factory new brass case. Component selection is only the start to our top quality ammunition. Just ran through a 160 rnd bucket to break in/sight in a new 8″ AR pistol. Ran perfectly, and accuracy out to 50yds was excellent. Also, cleaning of the gun was noticeably easier-powder burned fully, with little residue. Highly reccomended.

The ammo is reasonably priced and loaded in new LC cases with .300 BO headstamp so it’s not converted from .223/5.56 cases. That alone was what I needed given current ammo shortages and hiked prices. In a Wilson Combat barrel that is 16″ with carbine gas it cycled reliably (lower end of appropriately gassed) using a standard carbine spring and buffer. Precision averaged 2-3MoA with some vertical stringing in a barrel that generally shoots neat triangular groups around 1MoA. It’s plinking ammo but a decent buy.

Fired my first bucket of 147gr FMJ and HOT DOG those rounds were GREAT! I fired them through my Daniel Defense DDM4V7 SBR, 11.5 inch barrel. All rounds cycled perfectly, very reliable, no issues to report. I swapped between my EOTECH HWS and Sig LPVO, Zero was true and the rounds performed flawlessly, I did stay at 50 yards, plan on extending to 100 yards next outing.
I do plan on switching to the 125gr Sierra MatchKing bucket once the price becomes a little palatable. Keep up the good work Gorilla team!!!

According to Lake City the magnetic issue is with an the jacket materiel the core is lead. Your the second person to state that the projectiles were attracted to a magnet. We are assured by the manufacture these bullets do have lead cores.
