Due to component shortages, we are currently using mil-spec primers in some of our 300BLK loads. These primers contain a harder primer cap designed for use in semi-automatic weapons. You may experience lite strikes in bolt action platforms due to the harder primer cap. Please be aware of this issue before purchasing. For safety reasons, we do not allow returns once the product has been delivered. If you would like to check availability of 300BLK ammo for use in your bolt action platform, please contact us before purchasing.

300 BlackOut 100gr Gorilla Rampage – 160 Round Bucket

The 300 BLK 100gr Gorilla Rampage is designed for maximum terminal effectiveness against hogs, deer, and other medium size game. This round touts a lead free, solid copper projectile engineered to fragment explosively upon impact with soft tissue. This creates a gaping wound cavity while the base continues to penetrate on and through the target.

Component selection is only the start to our top quality ammunition, the Gorilla Ammunition manufacturing process ensures consistency by pairing high end linear loading equipment with multi stage in-process inspections by highly trained machine operators with a final inspection of each and every round by our quality inspectors to ensure only ammunition that meets our rigorous specifications makes it into the box.

Technical Specifications:

I really wanted to like this ammo. I groups well, but about 15-20% of the ammo had misfeeds and jams in my LWRC action. I tried multiple magazines from 2 different manufacturers to see if it was a mag issue, but there was no change in the amount of misfeeds. I will not be buying any more of the Rampage ammo.

Love this round! Performs well out of both my 7.5′ and 16″ with no cycling issues so far. Wonderful on hogs especially behind the ear which is my primary use for it. Not the most accurate compared to handloads but PLENTY accurate for within 100 yards.

  3. Brad Borton (verified owner)

This ammunition shoots very nice. It burns really clean for less time cleaning. Yes, it drops pigs just fine. I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely buy again and recommend to all. Great job!

  4. Jacob (verified owner)

This ammo has very tight groupings and have yet to have any sort of failure with it. Definitely wish somebody would find a way to speed up production which in turn would hopefully drop the price. But either way 300 blackout ammo is almost always more expensive that other comparable rounds.

  5. Greg Waller

No complaints! Ripped out of my PDW Daniel Defense 7″ with not one issue or problem. Thank you for making an excellent torpedo.

Great ammo, very consistent. I shot it through my Barrett Rec7 pistol with a 10.3” barrel, had 3 failure to feed malfunctions out 90 rounds (3 mags) that I’ve shot. I still love the ammo, love the grouping I got at 50 (1/2”), 100 (3/4”) and 150 (1-1/4”) yards. I’ll be buying some more here soon!

  7. Adam Sherrick (verified owner)

Great ammo for the price! Of the 160 rounds they were all the same OAL except 12. The variations were still shootable just a hundredth of an inch shorter. Still waiting for hunting season to roll around to test them out.

I LOVE this stuff !!! I Choot suppressed most of the time so having a clean burning powder is important if I don’t want to add an extra hour at the cleaning bench. Very consistent groups from shorter barrel uppers of various twist rates. Even flys well from my 5.5” Sig rattler for boogie man duty. Most of all, this stuff is coyote criptonite !!! Any shot in the engine room puts em down on the spot. With these results and characteristics I can accept the price. You get what you pay for !
