This 300 Blackout Load features our patent pending CNC Swiss Turned solid copper projectile and factory new brass case. This 205gr Lead Free CNC Lathe Turned Solid Copper projectile is designed, precisely manufactured and finely tuned for maximum expansion at subsonic speed. Long gone are the days of tracking game for hours after what you thought was the perfectly placed shot. The Silverback 205gr Subsonic 300 BLK opens up fast in soft tissue and creates incredible wound cavity that make game lay down upon impact. This cartridge is no longer loaded in nickel cases. These projectiles are precisely CNC Swiss Lathe Turned and feature a unique patent pending design. Our Silverback ammunition line creates devastating temporary and permanent wound cavities which are created by the aforementioned solid copper projectiles. The unique design of the projectiles expands quickly and with insane precision. 205 gr Silverback is in a league all its own. I have a 9” barrel Sig Sauer MCX and 7” barrel Daniel Defense DDM4 (both are suppressed). I’m tempted to use the phrase “Hollywood Quiet,” but whatever term/phrase you use, these rounds are engineered to have unsurpassed terminal performance/terminal ballistics and to match perfectly with a suppressor. And they’re the most accurate subsonic load I’ve ever used. Full throttle performance is out to 100 – 125 yards; within that range, if you make a semi-decent shot, the animal being targeted drops immediately. For personal defense, nothing competes; in that it will drop a deer or large boar, it should go without saying that it will drop any “bad” guy who is threatening you or loved ones. These rounds are devastating! I keep both my 300 BLK AR Pistols loaded with these rounds and I never worry about stopping power. Quiet and deadly!

I was looking for a good self defense round for my HD/CQB 300 BLK pistol. After watching some videos, I found the Silverbacks on James Yeager’s and Mrgunsngear’s reviews. As soon as Gorilla sent me the in stock notification, I grabbed some. I ran some at the range, to make sure they fed and cycled fine, which they did. Hopefully I’ll never need them for HD, but if I do, I know that I have rounds in my mags that will end the situation in my favor.

I see that Mike has responded to you in e-mail. I apologize we missed your first request, things here are really crazy. The 205’s with their blunt nose can have feed issues, the only suggestion I have is try different mags. PMAG’s seem to present the projectile higher into the center of the chamber for better feeding. I have had people say that a standard mag not a Blackout mag sometimes feeds better as well.

As soon as this ammo is back in stock I’ll order more.. its my new favorite subsonic round.. in my 10.5 running a can its scary movie quiet.. everything cycled perfect.. zero is at 50yd and maybe i got lucky but all 5 rounds were touching each other.. ill take that all day.. needless to say stock up on this stuff. Best out there
