Gorilla 8.6 Blackout ammunition is here. This subsonic load features our 285gr Solid Copper Fracturing Projectile. This projectile is designed to fragment when impacting a fluid area, shedding four pedals that are about 40gr’s a piece, penetrating radially to a depth of about 10 inches. The approximate 125gr base of the projectile then penetrates to a depth of 16”-19”.

Originally, the tub I ordered had some ammunition with velocities that were off spec and grouping poorly. I contacted Gorilla customer service and I provided chronograph readings and photos of the groupings. Customer service was excellent and provided a replacement batch. The new batch is grouping very well (about 1.5 inches at 100 yards) and velocities are all within 20 ft/sec of each other.
